Abstract :
Driven by ubiquitous computing technology, ubiquitous learning (u-Learning) has become the future way of learning. More and more attention is drawn to u-Learning, which requires learning resource with strong evolutionary capability to realize in-time update of knowledge and dynamic linking between resources. However, current learning resources in Web 1.0 environment always update rather slowly, which can´t meet the need of acquiring instant knowledge by learners. In Web 2.0 environment, learning resource is labeled by OPENNESS and COLLABORATIVE CONSTRUCTION. A big quantity of all kinds of learning resources are emmerging and updating frequently, but another key problem has appeared. It is the orderly growth of learning resource, which leads to the discursive growth and in poor control of quality of learning resource. This paper gives a systematic definition of learning resource evolution, design two kinds of evolution model, content-based resource evolution and association-based resource evolution. Some key issues and the technical solution methods during the study of learning resource evolution are emphatically analyzed. It is anticipated to guide the development of learning resource evolution technical support environment, and promote further study of u-Learning in the layer of learning resource.
