Abstract :
This paper presents a vehicle rollover dynamic monitoring algorithm based on tilt sensor. With tilt sensor, the tilt signal of vehicle under different conditions is collected and analyzed. The interference affects the tilt signal only when it is in existence, when disappears, the effect disappears, based on which a vehicle rollover dynamic monitoring algorithm is presented; the duration of X,Y and Z interference signal which caused the roll angle larger than the set threshold are analyzed to determine the time window width. A test is made to analyze and prove the algorithm. The studies show that, based on reasonable time window width, the algorithm effectively excludes the vibration, turning and other interference in certain extent, reduces error warning, achieves the dynamic monitoring of vehicle rollover, and saves the cost in contrast with gyro.
