Abstract
Pre-distortion using optical phase control by optical power monitoring is proposed to mitigate waveform degradation from SPM in dispersion-compensated fiber transmissions with BPSK-SSB modulation. The numerical evaluation confirmed that the pre-distortion can increase the fiber input power 15 dB compared to the no-equalization case.
