  • Abstract
This paper introduces a novel spike detection algorithm based on the use of Walsh transforms. The algorithm focuses on the assessment of characteristics in the electroencephalogram (EEG) signal that reveal the presence of a spike feature. The mathematical formulation or the algorithm is introduced and results obtained from the analysis of data from 7 epileptic patients are presented.
