Redesigning University Library: Group Learning Environment

Group learning environment (GLE) is library service support to actively participate in learning activities. This article introduces innovative service development of libraries in information age and the need of learning interaction, extensity and cooperation of university readers, explains the necessity of constructing GLE in university libraries, illustrates the composing elements and functions of GLE and reports on analysis of GLE construction difficulties as well as relevant solutions.
