Abstract :
Recent progress on 100 Gb/s/ch transmission that can accommodate 100 GbE signals transparently is described. Over 10 Tb/s transmission can be achieved over 7,200 km using no-guard-interval coherent optical OFDM and digital signal processing technologies.
