Abstract :
Crossing transition with an additional third harmonic cavity in the Fermilab Main Ring requires techniques which are different from those used previously at Fermilab. The implementation of these new techniques has involved the addition of new components to the low level RF system and a new applications program to control these new components. After an introduction to the basic theory, this paper describes the applications program and its relation to the low level RF hardware
