Abstract :
Utilizing a modular design with open source software in the development of the touch screen LCD allowed for more efficient development. When inevitable pitfalls slow progress in one area, productivity increased in another sector allowing the project to remain on schedule. Project management foresight insured a smooth recombination of the modules and a successful completion of the project within the scheduled timeframe.
