Abstract :
More than 9mW output powers for all wavelengths and over 38 nm range tuning in sampled grating distributed Bragg reflector laser with an integrated semiconductor optical amplifier is demonstrated. Tilted amplifier and anti-reflection facet coating are used to suppress reflection.
