Abstract :
This presentation is designed for engineering faculty and administrators who have questions concerning and coping with their role in students´ transitions into the workplace. Interactive discussion and nonscripted simulations on angry student responses, evaluation procedures, authority vs. leadership and gender-sensitive issues are considered. Discussion supports actions that enhance faculty members´ knowledge of the emerging classroom issues that parallel a student´s successful future in the workplace.
