Abstract :
Though safety of the power supply has been paid close attention to, most of the urban rail transit failures at present result from the power failure. The paper, which focuses on the global control, proposes an emergency self-traction system with the purpose of wisely utilizing the power reserved in energy saving system for rational emergency self-traction when power supply breaks down. The strategy also provides appropriate modes during regular operations, alleviating energy demands from grid, which proves to be positive to the environment.
