Abstract :
An analysis is presented of an address server designed for a survivable, mobile packet-switching radio network. The load the algorithm places on the network is determined as a function of the node mobility, address request rate, and algorithm parameters. Issues associated with the design of the address server are presented, and a design is introduced and then analyzed. Also considered are two design issues which have to do with the amount of traffic generated by the address server
