  • Abstract
    In recent years natural calamities happen frequently, emergency communication of disaster areas is critical to save lives and property. Stratospheric communication platform which equips directional antennas has advantages of fast deploy, good mobility, good robustness against attenuation. This platform is especially appropriate for mountainous area with complex natural condition. For the scene, this paper analyses and compares communication quality with directional antennas and omni-directional antennas through modeling and simulation. The simulation proves that signal to noise ratio of directional antennas has improved at least 10dB than omni-directional antennas in the extreme weather.
