Abstract :
Three-types of active integrated antenna array with a high power device and heat sink mechanism have been developed at 5.8 GHz. Two-stage and three-stage high power amplifier with output of about 2 w and 4 W respectively were used in the array. In the 32-element high power active integrated antenna array with 117 mm thick and 4 kg, the total output power of 120 W was achieved. Further, the thinner array by a heat pipe cooling system with 20 mm thick and the array by the two-stage creased substrate circuit with 47 mm thick were developed.
