Abstract :
Under the background of economic globalization, bilingual teaching became one of the hotspots of teaching reform in China. At first, the concept and essence of bilingual teaching is studied, the related education policies in China are analyzed, and the necessity and significance of offering bilingual teaching in Computer Networks course are explored. Then, based on practice and experiences of bilingual teaching in Computer Networks course in Xi´an University of Science and Technology, course arrangement and problems that exist in the bilingual teaching initiatives are discussed. To solve the problems, the author summarize the ways of bilingual teaching from seven aspects: to improve teachers´ English level, to select the classical original textbook, to choose proper teaching pattern, to arouse learning enthusiasm of the students, to use various teaching methods, to arrange experiments and to establish new evaluation system.
