Abstract :
A novel high pulse-energy Yb-doped all-fiber dual-cavity laser with large core-diameter fiber-based passive Q-switcher is reported. The monolithic fiber oscillator generates pulses with peak power of 3.4 kW and single pulse energy of 484 μJ.
