Abstract :
To achieve the highest capacity for MIMO system under Rician fading channel, the certain statistical values of transmitted signals represented by correlation matrix have to be met. In practice, the transmitted signals assigned by users provide an uncertain correlation matrix which is not optimal for Rician case. To solve this problem, the method to transform the user´s signals into the transmitted signals having optimal correlation matrix is required. So far, there is no approach available to tackle this problem. Therefore, this paper originally proposes a pre-coding design for optimal MIMO transmission operating under Rician fading channel. The proposed solution is able to offer the success of theoretical framework as well as the feasibility in implementation. The simulation results also reveal that the proposed system provides better BER performances, as well as higher capacity than the systems without pre-coding.
