Abstract
In this paper we present an analysis model for the microstrip slot antenna excited by a non terminated microstripline The model is an extension of the well-known method for the analysis of the radiation by a slot in a waveguide. By application of the Lorentz reciprocity theorem we find an equivalent circuit which parameters are determined with the aperture theory. This n ew model is simple and easy to use for analyzing a single as well as an array of radiating slots fed by the same microstripline.
