Abstract :
IEEE802.16d wireless mesh network(WMN) includes two different scheduling mechanisms: distributed scheduling and centralized scheduling. The performance of WMN has been influenced by many factors. This paper analyses and researches the limited performance of WMN from the factors of throughput and delay in detail based on the distributed scheduling mechanism in IEEE802.16d mesh mode. An improvement method has been proposed to optimize the performance of WMN according to the premise on meeting the delay and business requirements. The simulations show that the analysis and improvement method on performance of WMN is feasible.
