Abstract :
Summary form only given. In our experiments, a standard magneto optical trap (MOT) is loaded from a cesium background vapor. Fluorescence of the trapped atoms is observed with avalanche photodiodes in single-photon-counting mode. We use two complementary techniques to record intensity correlations: measurement of the waiting time distribution at short times and multiple stop techniques by recording photon arrival times.
