Abstract :
A broad-band eight-port MIC monopulse comparator is presented in this paper. The comparator is based on the double-sided MIC magic-T. The comparator is fully characterized by its measured eight-port S parameters to generate the sum and delta channel frequency responses. Larger than 23dB nulls is achieved in DELTA 1, larger than 17.5dB nulls is achieved in DELTA 2 and larger than 26dB DELTA 3, throughout a SUM channel pass band from 1.6 to 6.2 GHz.
