Abstract
In China, 2300-2400 MHz may be available for TD-LTE system in the future, which means that TD-LTE system may share the same frequency band with the radiolocation system (radar). So the problem of interference from radar to the TD-LTE system should be studied. In order to analyze the interference from radar to LTE system, we propose a novel numerical calculation with conditional probability to get the Bit Error Rate (BER) of LTE system under the interference. Then protection isolation between the two systems is calculated with above calculation method. From the results, large isolation is needed between the two systems. So some measures for interference mitigation must be taken such as distance separation, frequency separation and so on.
