Summary form only given.Here, we describe measurements of the dynamics of the amplitude, phase, and polarization state of the emission from a GaAs-AlGaAs MQW when the excitation spectrum is tuned so that both hh and lh are excited and quantum beats are observed. We find that all of the parameters that describe the polarization state (including the ellipticity and the orientation of the polarization ellipse) oscillate at the hh-lh beat frequency.
