Abstract :
There are several ways to generate single phase SPWM wave, in this paper, we put forward a type of single phase SPWM wave generating method based on counter method, through the FPGA implementation. It can realize the control of the output pulse width by using look-up table method to determine the value of the counter and changing the value of it. The method describes the SPWM waveform generator hardware structure using Verilog HDL language based on the design platform ModelSim. The simulation results prove it is feasible that the FPGA counter method generates SPWM wave.
