Abstract :
Hardware to measure the Main Ring beam bunch length was installed in January of 1991. The system measures bunch length by comparing relative strengths of 53 MHz and 159 MHz components of signal from a beam detector. The output signal is proportional to bunch length, is scaled in nanosec., and has become a very useful diagnostic tool. Hardware design and operational performance are presented
