Abstract :
This paper includes the earth magnetic field simulation for two established orbital missions; this representation will be done using software linked to a magnetic field generator device, acting like Hardware in the Loop (HiL). Firstly, the software is briefly described and the instrumentation required for the tests will be introduced. The results obtained by the six-degree-of-freedom simulator must be reproduced and compared with those acquired by the real time tests of the on-site magnetic field generation. For such purpose, the test results obtained by a sensor mounted on a low-earth-orbit micro-satellite functional prototype must be carefully studied.
