Abstract :
Improved digital peak voltage (IDPV) control algorithm of switching dc-dc converters with trailing-edge, leading-edge, leading-triangle and trailing-triangle pulse-width modulations are studied in the paper. The control laws of switching dc-dc converters with these different modulation methods are derived and compared with buck converter as an example. Small-signal analysis and comparison among different modulation methods has been performed to have a better understanding of IDPV control algorithm.
