Abstract :
In order to solve the problem that mechanical pointer type flowmeter cannot be calibrated automatically, based on the photoelectric conversion principle, a non-contact meter pointer automatic identification sensor was designed. The signal acquisition hardware and software of the pointer identification sensor were designed also. Two flowmeters can be calibrated at the same time. It was shown by the result of experiments that automatic recognition of meter pointer, automatic signal acquisition and processing were achieved. It meets the industrial field demand of mechanical pointer type flowmeter automatic calibration.
