Sobre el uso de hardware electrónico de bajo costo y la simulación en la enseñanza de sistemas de control

A common complaint among engineering grade students is the lack of experimental and laboratory practices that help materializing the theoretical knowledge acquired during regular courses. This paper shares the experience attained over several years by integrating computer and physical simulation models and low-cost microcontrollers for control system grade-level courses among different careers, each with a different orientation. It is also stressed the importance of paying special attention to the problems associated with learning mediated by simulation in the realization of practices.
