Abstract :
The traditional high voltage AC motor drive system has a lot of problems. People are looking for the solutions to these problems for many years. In order to reduce the influence of high voltage on the insulation structure and avoid excessive current problems, multi-branch motor thought was proposed. This article mainly studied the operating principle of the multi-branch line-start permanent magnet synchronous motor and the work characteristics. The stator windings of this multi-branch PMSM are designed into multi branches, and these branches compose independent windings which have three-phase output-ends. Consequently, the current in stator can be separated. According to the simulation data, design and make a 30 KW principle prototype. And do some characteristic experiments on it which agree well with the simulation results.
