Abstract :
The absorption bandwidth of Nd:(Y1-XLax)2O3 (x = 0, 0.05, 0.10) transparent ceramics are 4 nm for x = 0 and 8 nm for x > 0, respectively. The fluorescent lifetimes are increased with the increase of x due to the glasslike structure of Y2-2xLa2xO3.
