Abstract :
Arc rapid diagnostic techniques can effectively and timely achieve reliable protection of electrical equipment or line fault arc which may occur. Depending on the feature that the line current waveform distorted when series fault arc occurred in device or line, this proposed a method for fault arc rapid recognition with current waveforms comparison, to effectively extract the fault arc current waveform signal distortion amount for thus fault arc rapidly diagnosis. Experimental results show that the algorithm is simple and easy to realize, this method has the capability to recognize fault arc rapidly, and can achieve the series fault arc diagnosis effectively.
