Abstract :
In this paper, the characteristics of flexible substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) are experimentally investigated. Based on the merits of high quality, low insertion loss, flexibility and mass productive etc. from SIW, both K and Ka band flexible waveguides have been designed, fabricated with normal printed circuit board (PCB) process and tested. From the experimental results, good guided wave performance of the proposed flexible waveguide is shown.
