Abstract :
The proposal of this paper is to establish a numerical model to simulate mechanical, thermal, electric and magnetic behavior of the electrical contact. The coupling model of mechanical, thermal, electrical and magnetic field is uncoupled into two sub models: structural thermoelectric and magnetic models. By using ANSYS software the direct-coupling of structural and thermoelectric fields is solved. The ANSOFT software is applied to compute the magnetic repulsion force. Finally the interpolation method is used to combine above sub models to compute the simulation results with considering effect of magnetic repulsion force.
