Abstract :
The palmprint recognition based on Dempster-Shafer classfier combination is presented in this paper. Linear Discriminant Classifier (LDC), One Against All Support Vector Machine (OAASVM) classifier, K-Nearest Near (KNN) classifier and Dempster-Shafer classfier combination are used in our experiments. From the experiment result with the above 3 individual classifiers and DS classifier combination on PolyU Palmprint Database (The Second Version), it can be seen that DS combination approach get a better performance than those individual classifiers.
