Abstract
Today´s engineering students have the responsibility and opportunity to continue improving our quality of life while also curbing or reversing the negative impacts that our industrial society is having on the biosphere. Current engineering curricula is ill-equipping them to deal with these challenges due to a lack of project-based learning, design fundamentals, and integration of sustainable design strategies. The Autodesk® Sustainability Workshop is a learning resource, using videos, tutorials and case studies to teach basic principles of sustainable design and engineering. Our goal is to bring sustainability into the mainstream by giving students and educators tools to incorporate sustainability into the design process.
