Abstract
DeepWave is an experimental installation that allows real time visualization of music within a 3-dimensional virtual environment. We give a technical overview of the DeepWave system and discuss artistic observations. We furthermore give a brief introduction to the DeepWave authoring process and describe two experiments in which we used DeepWave in a live setting and in production mode
