  • Abstract
The solid-liquid two-phase flow equations of the draining-sand jet pump had been established based on the RNG k-ε two-equation turbulence model. On this basis, the numerical analysis models of different area ratios were established. Then, the characteristics of pressure field distribution, velocity field distribution, and solid phase ratio were analyzed by CFD. The numerical analysis results were studied and contrasted with another one. The performance of draining-sand jet pump is changed with the area ratio. The numerical analysis method would improve the comprehensive properties of the draining-sand jet pump by optimizing the structure parameter of nozzle and throat.
