Abstract :
In this paper a synthesis method for stabilizing controllers with a time constraint in the case of LTI (linear time invariant) systems is presented. In this case the controller structure and dynamics are fixed. The time constraint is expressed using equality between the time moments of the closed loop system and those of a reference model. The linear matrix inequality (LMI) formalism is used in the resolution. This theoretical analyse is applied to control a permanent magnet DC motor (PMDC). A complete simulation and also experimental results confirm the validity of the proposal method.
