Abstract
The procedures for processing changes to the National Electrical Code (NEC) are addressed. The NEC governs all electrical installations in industrial facilities as well as commercial and residential occupancies. Since new products and electrical technology are constantly evolving, it is necessary to revise the NEC periodically to incorporate these changes in materials and methods. The complete revision cycle is defined, and guidance for submitting proposals to revise the NEC is provided
