Abstract
A broad band antenna consisting of half wave strip dipoles the arms of which are printed on opposite sides of a thin substrate is proposed. Four-element array is fabricated. The feed network comprised of power dividers and impedance transformers is designed to improve antenna performance. Antennas have bandwidth greater than 21% for VSWR<1.5 (without reflector) and 20% for VSWR<2 (with reflector) operating at 2.4 GHz band. Tested results show good agreement with simulated data. The gain and pattern characteristics of antenna for interested bands are satisfied.
