  • Abstract
Public service is the core content of e-government. The electronic public service, as a new mode, is the combination of the public service function of government and the electronic means of supply. Foreign scholars\´ study of electronic public services focused on needs analysis, specific content, performance evaluation; the domestic study focused on functional orientation, implementation and service evaluation. In comparison, China\´s research about electronic public services is relatively weak. We should put the "service orientation" throughout the e-government construction, increase the research of personalized e-services, pay more attention to the supply of electronic public services mode, and emphasize the integration of multi-disciplinary research methods.
