Abstract :
Based on the stability Influence factors of rock foundation with Karst cave, with the action of gravity and pile foundation loading, safe thickness of Karst cave roof was calculated with the mechanics analytical method. Then Karst cavesurrounding rock stress was analyzed with elasticity theory and Griffith criterion, the results show that the latter method is used to chose safe thickness of karst cave roof, not only to ensure the safety of roof, but also to ensure the stability of karst cave, so it supply reliable calculation method for safe thickness of karst cave roof.
