Abstract :
The dispersion equation of the slot line is modified to describe higher order modes. The rapid convergence without extraordinary solutions is obtained. The examples of the electric field distribution in the slot and the dispersion plot for several first higher order modes are included. The presence of simple poles in dispersion equation integrals is discussed and the attempt at the explanation of this fact is done.
