Abstract
The Green´s functions of grounded magnetodielectric slabs using the alternative wave expansion with LE, LM waves are suggested. Radiation patterns of surface waves excited by a patch dipole and a slot covered with double-positive and double- negative permittivity and permeability media are obtained and compared. The space wave radiation efficiency for a patch dipole and a slot are calculated.
