Abstract :
In this paper, a new definition is proposed for the transmitter antenna height of the universal Okumura-Hata model. The parameters of this modified model is tuned based on a Levenberg-Marquardet method. The electric field strength predictions of this modified tuned model is compared with the measurement data obtained by utilizing the IS-95 pilot signal in a commercial CDMA network in the rural Australia.
