Abstract
The transparency in government affairs is a direct way to achieve the civil right to know, so it\´s the first prerequisite of "a government in the sunshine". As a worldwide innovation movement of governance, e-government emphasizes communication and participation and highly consists with the key concept of "government in the sunshine". E-government has its unique advantages and significance in the government transparency, so it should be the "primary impetus" of building an open government. Based on an analysis of the important role of e-government in the building of "a government in the sunshine" and the main problems of China\´s current e-government open information, this article put forward some ideas and solutions to open government information thought e-government system and to promote the building of "a government in the sunshine".
