Abstract :
80 Gbit/s RZ-DPSK regeneration with wide-range of random phase and amplitude noise is demonstrated numerically. RZ-DPSK is converted to modulated-CW that reconstructs clean data (differential phase-error = 4o) using SOA-MZI. BER shows 4.8 dB OSNR improvement at 10-9.
