Abstract
To point of environmental data monitored and dispersed, the transported data character are real-time and continued, we have been used the telecommunication network, which has been covering the whole country and city, main including PSIN (public switch telecommunication network) and DDN (digital data network) and GSM (global system for mobile communication), the monitoring system of regional environmental pollution index has being built with such characteristics as distributing, real-time, dynamic and expandable. The system consists of the spot measuring unit and the base of telecommunication and the monitor center and so on. By using this system, regional environmental pollution index can be remote monitored, major real-time monitoring can also be effected on pollutant emission of big key unit, communication success rate is over 99.9%. This system has widely application prospect in such field as industrial control, intelligent family living , hospital monitoring, intelligent traffic, etc.
