Abstract :
Spectroscopic properties of Tm3+ doped oxyfluoride glass ceramics containing BaF2 nanocrystals are systematically investigated. Compared with the precursor glass, significantly increased upconversion luminescence was observed in the glass ceramics and the reasons were discussed.
